“2026 WSBPA Jackpot Classic” Tournament Rules
1. The tournament will be sanctioned through the USBC.
Entries will close April 30, 2026, at midnight.
USBC Certification number: 04252 all bowlers must be members of the USBC and have a current season membership number.
2. At the tournament in Las Vegas, voluntary on-site brackets and raffles will be offered.
Substitutions will be allowed from the existing roster of eligible bowlers competing in the 2026 tournament.
3. 100 percent of all bowlers will cash in in Las Vegas for singles, doubles, and team events.
Optional Events:trios, (1 for 3), nine pin no-tap (1 for 3), shoot-out (based on number of entries), all events (1 for 3), Late Night Dumpster Fire (based on number of entries).
4. The handicap basis used throughout the tournament will be 100% versus the highest entering average.
5. Averages:
Bowlers with a JPC Tournament average of 36 games or more over the last 5 years will use this average for the tournament UNLESS, their current 2026 league average of 21 game or more in ANY league is 10 pins or more higher, that current season average less 5 pins will be used. , If a bowlers does not have a 36 game JPC Tournament average, they will use their highest 2026 season average as of April 1, 2026, from any league, unless their 2023-2024 average of 21 games or more is 10 than their 2025 average. Then this average less five pins will be used.
The Jackpot Classic may also re-rate a bowler based on their JPC Tournament average of less than 36 games, or based on scores and entering averages from 2023, 2024, or 205 under USBC rules.
Bowlers without a verifiable average as outlined herein will bowl scratch...USBC re-rating rule 319-c will apply throughout the tournament.
6. No blind or vacant scores will be allowed.
Every bowler MUST enter singles, doubles and the four-person team events first to be eligible to bowl any of the “Optional Events” such nine pin no-tap or trio’s event.
7. Prize funds will be returned 100% at the awards party, Friday, June 5th, after all scores have been officially verified.
The event will take place in the hotel ballroom, at approximately 6:00 p.m.
There is no additional cost for bowlers.
An extra ticket can be purchased for a spouse or friend at a cost of $30 per person.
Drinks only during the awards party.
8. Singles, doubles and the four-person teams will be divided into two equal divisions based on the combined team averages.
Teams in the top half with the higher averages will compete in Division A and teams with lower averages will bowl in Division B.
An equal prize fund will be paid to each division.
9. Trios:
No restrictions on the combination of men or women on the team.
No requirement each team have at least one bowler 50+.
Each team MUST, however, have a minimum COMBINED age of 120 or more.
10. Shoot-Out will remain scratch, divided into at least two divisions by entering averages.
If 99 or more bowlers enter, the event will be divided into 3 divisions by entering average.
Everyone will bowl 3 games of qualifying after which the top 16 in each division will advance to a single game, head-to-head elimination until the final two bowlers remain in each division for the Championship Matches.
11. Refunds:
tournament entry fees will be returned 100% if cancelled by April 30, 2026.
Cancellations after May 1st will be returned at 50%.
Refunds will be processed and returned to the individual who originally paid for the entry through the tournament website.
12. The maximum score for any single game with handicap shall be 300.
The maximum three-game series with handicap shall be 900.
13. The tournament directors retain the right to settle any/all differences that may arise.
